About 16 Horsepower
Denver-rooted gothic country-rock band 16 Horsepower forged a dark, hymn-like sound that blends folk, alt-country and post-punk intensity, earning a cult following in the late-1990s and early-2000s. Their live shows have long been praised for haunting atmospheres, visceral vocals and a ritualistic energy that made each performance feel like a solemn gathering, though the group retreated into long periods of silence after their 2005 breakup. The band will kick off its first European reunion shows on April 16, 2027 at Proxima in Warsaw, Poland, and will conclude the brief run on April 30, 2027 at Electric Brixton in London, Great Britain.
