How we count

What’s counted

The 1,908 artists we track, not every act on tour. An act counts when it has 2027 shows of its own on sale, or a run of three or more supporting another act. Festival slots and one-off guest spots don’t count, and cancelled or postponed shows are left out.

Where the dates come from

Ticketmaster listings, checked for every act each night, and the artists’ own tour pages.

The weekly chart

New 2027 dates on Ticketmaster by the week we first saw them, leaving out a show listed again under a new listing. Before Oct 14: part of the catalog checked each night, so lower.

Most talked-about

Stories about each act’s touring in the 194 music and news outlets we read, over the last two months.

Who’s next

Our tour signal score, 0 to 100, from press coverage, fan chatter on Reddit and other signals; 60 and up is Buzzing. Read it as a watch list, not a forecast. So far we've flagged 2 acts a week or more before they announced: Disturbed (51 days early) and Bon Jovi (10 days early).
