What is TourAlert?
TourAlert tracks the buzz around your favorite artists so you know when they're back on tour. Add an artist to your watchlist and we'll tell you the moment a new show gets announced.
Is TourAlert free?
Yes, and we plan to keep it that way. If you buy tickets through a link on the site, we may earn a small affiliate commission at no cost to you. That's what keeps the lights on.
Where does our data come from?
Tour dates come from public ticketing sources like Ticketmaster. Fan chatter and reunion rumors come from Reddit and news coverage. Every signal we show links back to the original post or article, so you can always check the source yourself.
What are “signals”?
A signal is a public mention that points to touring activity. That might be a Reddit thread about a band playing live again, a news story about a reunion, or a rehearsal sighting. We count them, group them by source, and surface the most recent ones on the artist page.
When does an artist count as “Touring”?
Only when real, bookable shows show up from a ticketing provider. Everything before that (interviews, reunion rumors, fan chatter) stays on the page as signals, but the status holds at Not Touring until there's an actual show to point to. We don't guess or project.
How do notifications work?
Notifications are coming soon. Once they launch, adding an artist to your watchlist will get you an email the next time a show is announced for them. Watchlists require a free account, and you can manage notification preferences from your dashboard.
How do I add an artist I don’t see?
Use the search bar. If the artist isn't already in our database, we'll pull them in on the fly. Brand new or very niche acts may take a moment to fully populate.
