About Beirut
A Vermont-born indie folk collective led by multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon, Beirut blends brass-laden Balkan melodies with lo-fi acoustic arrangements, creating a cinematic, world-music-infused sound that has defined the project since its early 2000s releases. Renowned for intimate, richly arranged live shows that feel like traveling festivals, the group has cultivated a reputation for emotive, orchestral performances and has taken extended breaks between touring cycles, most notably a hiatus that lasted from 2019 to 2026. The band will kick off its first North American tour in over eight years on April 2, 2027 at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, then travel across the United States and Canada, wrapping up on April 13, 2027 at History Toronto.
