About Black Sabbath

Metal

British heavy-metal pioneers forged the dark, riff-driven sound that defined the genre in the early 1970s. Their concerts have long been celebrated for thunderous volume, theatrical lighting, and a reputation for epic, multi-hour setlists, while the band entered an extended hiatus after their farewell tour in 2018. The group has no active tour dates, but Black Sabbath has been added to the Power To The People Festival lineup for 2026 and is slated to appear on the Ozzfest bill when the festival returns to the United States in 2027.
