About Children of Bodom
Finnish melodic death metal pioneers have blended aggressive riffing with neoclassical flair since the late 1990s. Renowned for blistering live energy and technical precision, the band built a reputation for intense shows before entering a long hiatus after the death of frontman Alexi Laiho. The group is not on a full-scale tour but has confirmed appearances at several 2027 festivals, co-headlining Tuska Festival in Helsinki in July and also playing Provinssi, Bloodstock Open Air, Wacken Open Air and Graspop Festival.
