About Doves
Manchester-originated alternative rock outfit Doves blend soaring guitars with atmospheric production, crafting emotive, melodic songs that sit at the heart of late-90s Brit-indie. Their sound is marked by layered textures, driving rhythms, and introspective lyricism, earning them a place among the era’s most resonant guitar-driven bands. Renowned for immersive live performances, Doves have built a reputation for delivering richly detailed sets that translate their studio depth to the stage, often drawing dedicated crowds despite intermittent hiatuses. The band concluded a brief UK run in September 2026, playing Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on the 17th and Blackpool Winter Gardens on the 18th, with no further dates announced.
