About Evanescence
American gothic-metal outfit Evanescence blends orchestral piano, soaring female vocals and heavy guitar riffs into a dramatic, dark-rock sound that defined the early-2000s and continues to evolve. Known for theatrical, emotionally charged live shows that pair powerful vocal performances with striking visual production, the band has built a reputation for delivering immersive arena experiences. Evanescence is between legs of its 2026-2027 world tour. The tour opened in June 2026 in the United States, moved through Europe in September, and will resume on Oct 26, 2026 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, before concluding on Mar 20, 2027 at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.
