About Florence + the Machine
British art-rock collective Florence + the Machine blends soaring vocals with lush, orchestral arrangements, carving a niche in modern indie rock since the late 2000s. Their sound mixes dramatic percussion, harp-like guitar lines, and Florence Welch’s powerful, emotive voice, creating anthemic, cinematic pop-rock that feels both timeless and contemporary. Known for immersive, high-energy live shows, the band often transforms stadium stages into theatrical experiences, earning a reputation for dynamic setlists and audience-engaging moments. After a series of headline festival slots throughout 2026, including Reading & Leeds, Hurricane and the Mercury Prize ceremony, the group has no announced dates and is not currently on tour, leaving fans hopeful for future announcements.
