About Fontaines D.C.
Irish post-punk outfit Fontaines D.C. channels gritty, literary lyricism with driving guitars and a restless rhythm section, building on the late-2000s Dublin scene while evolving toward darker, atmospheric textures. Renowned for intense, cathartic live shows that blend swagger with raw emotion, the band has cultivated a reputation for turning venues into communal raucous spaces, often selling out quickly and delivering unpredictable setlists. The group is on a world tour that began Sep 21, 2026 in Brooklyn and will traverse Europe and North America, kicking off its next leg on Oct 22, 2026 in Madrid and concluding Oct 15, 2027 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood.
