About Ghost

Metal

Swedish heavy-metal outfit Ghost blends theatrical horror aesthetics with melodic, riff-driven songs, creating a distinctive blend of occult-themed metal that has defined modern rock spectacles. Their live shows are renowned for elaborate stagecraft, choir-like backing vocals, and a rotating cast of masked "Ghouls," delivering immersive performances that have earned a reputation for both visual and sonic intensity. Following the conclusion of the Skeletour, the band entered a hiatus, with frontman Tobias Forge confirming the pause in late August 2026, and the group has focused on releasing the "2 Big To Rig" live concert film and accompanying soundtrack rather than scheduling new dates.
