About Guano Apes

Alternative Rock

German alt-rock band Guano Apes pair guitar-driven songs with a mix of metal, pop and rap, a sound AllMusic describes as a fusion of those styles. The quartet comes from Göttingen and is fronted by vocalist Sandra Nasić. The band formed in 1994 and planned a farewell tour in February 2005 before disbanding. They reunited in 2009 for a run of European concerts and released Bel Air in April 2011, which entered the German album charts at number one. Offline followed in 2014, and Proud Like a God XX arrived on October 6, 2017.
