Houndmouth

Midwestern indie-rock outfit Houndmouth blends gritty Americana with melodic alt-rock, delivering hook-laden choruses and twang-tinged guitar work that recall late-2000s revivalist movements. Their sound, anchored by dual vocal harmonies and a roots-rock rhythm section, has evolved toward a polished yet emotionally raw aesthetic. Renowned for high-energy live shows, the band translates studio grit into raucous, sing-along performances that often feature extended bridges and audience-participation moments. After a brief hiatus following their 2021 release, they returned to the road in 2023, earning praise for tight musicianship and charismatic stage presence. Houndmouth will embark on an 11-date North American headline tour beginning Oct 29, 2026 at the Vogue Theatre in Indianapolis, followed by dates in Denver, Vancouver, Seattle, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Del Mar. The itinerary continues with a Canadian leg in February 2027, featuring shows in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
