About Madonna
Iconic pop powerhouse Madonna has dominated the music scene since the 1980s, blending dance-floor beats, synth-driven hooks, and provocative lyricism into a timeless pop sound. Her recent work on the fifteenth studio album Confessions II leans into modern house-pop textures while retaining her signature vocal flair. Known for theatrical, high-energy live shows that often push visual and cultural boundaries, she has built a reputation for elaborate stage productions and occasional long hiatuses between touring cycles. Most recently she opened the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, her first VMA appearance in 23 years, and performed at WorldPride Amsterdam on August 1, 2026 debuting material from the “Club Confessions” era. Alongside the new album, she released the collaborative single “Danceteria Afterhours” with Charli XCX, but no tour dates have been announced.
