About Modest Mouse
Portland-originated indie-rock outfit Modest Mouse has carved a jagged, angular sound since the early 2000s, blending cryptic lyrics with off-kilter guitar riffs and a restless rhythm section. The band is famed for energetic, unpredictable live shows that swing between tight precision and chaotic improvisation, earning a reputation for marathon sets and a devoted concert-going fanbase. The group is on tour, having launched the leg on Sep 16, 2026 at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater and traversing the United States. The run will conclude on Dec 9, 2026 at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.
