Moodymann

Detroit-born house producer Moodymann has been a cornerstone of the city’s deep-house and techno scene since the early 2000s, known for gritty, sample-laden tracks that blend soulful funk with experimental electronic textures. His releases often feature analog warmth and a distinctive Detroit groove that has influenced generations of dance music makers. Renowned for immersive club sets that emphasize improvisation and a raw, analog sound, Moodymann’s live shows are celebrated for their spontaneous energy and the way they blur the line between DJing and live performance. He periodically steps back from the spotlight, leading to long hiatuses that make each return a notable event for fans and the underground community alike. Moodymann is slated to appear at several major festivals later in 2026, including Tomorrowland CORE Melbourne, FuturFestival Mexico, LIDO Festival in London, and the Outwards Festival in Manchester, signaling continued demand for his live presence despite the absence of a headline tour.
