About Panda Bear
Experimental indie musician Panda Bear crafts kaleidoscopic, sample-laden songs that fuse psychedelic rock with avant-pop textures, a sound honed over two decades of solo work and Animal Collective collaborations. Known for immersive live shows that layer looping vocals, dense synths, and shifting rhythms, he often favors intimate venues and festival stages, with occasional hiatuses between touring cycles. In 2026 he issued the collaborative album “A ? of When” with Sonic Boom and is slated to appear at Pitchfork Music Festival London later this year, though no further tour dates have been announced.
