California‑originated rock outfit Queens of the Stone Age have forged a distinctive blend of desert‑rock grit and hypnotic, riff‑driven alternative metal since the late‑1990s, pairing angular guitar tones with relentless rhythm sections and Josh Homme’s snarling vocals. Renowned for tight, high‑energy performances that balance blistering heaviness with melodic hooks, the band has built a reputation for delivering immersive shows that often feature extended improvisations and a dark, cinematic atmosphere. The group will embark on a brief headline run later this year, opening at The Star Theatre in Singapore on Dec 2, 2026, followed by dates in Adelaide, Glenorchy and Auckland. In addition, Queens of the Stone Age will appear as special guests on Foo Fighters’ TAKE COVER TOUR in September and on other festival‑type events through October.
