About Ramones
New York-born punk pioneers, the Ramones helped define the raw, fast-paced sound of 1970s punk rock with stripped-down three-chord anthems and snarling vocals. Their live shows were notorious for high-energy, short sets that turned clubs into chaotic, sweaty arenas, cementing their reputation as relentless performers. The band ceased activity in 1996 and has remained inactive, with no announced tours or performances since their farewell show.
