About Sum 41
Canadian pop-punk outfit Sum 41 burst onto the early-2000s scene with fast-paced riffs, sing-along choruses, and a blend of punk aggression and melodic hooks that defined the era’s skate-park sound. The band built a reputation for high-energy live shows, mosh-friendly pits, and relentless touring cycles, punctuated by occasional hiatuses that left fans eager for each return. As of 2026 the group has no announced tour dates. Frontman Deryck Whibley recently voiced interest in an acoustic-focused tour and appeared on a panel at Toronto’s Departure festival, but no concrete concert plans have been confirmed.
