About The Mars Volta
Experimental prog-rock collective known for intricate song structures, frenetic shifts, and a blend of Latin-infused psychedelia defines The Mars Volta’s sound. Their early 2000s output reshaped progressive rock with dense arrangements and soaring vocals.\nRenowned for marathon performances that fuse improvisation with theatrical intensity, the band has built a reputation for demanding live shows that often feature extended jams and visual spectacle. Periodic hiatuses have punctuated their career, but each return has been met with fervent fan anticipation.\nThe act will open a headline show at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City on November 29, 2026, marking the first confirmed live date of their upcoming tour cycle and signaling a renewed push into the live circuit.
