About The Skints

Reggae

British reggae collective The Skints blend sun-soaked island rhythms with gritty punk energy, delivering a sound that fuses classic roots reggae, dancehall swagger, and occasional ska-inflected hooks. Emerging in the early 2010s, they have built a reputation for genre-bending tracks that feel both laid-back and urgent. Renowned for high-octane live shows, the band’s sets are celebrated for their infectious sing-alongs, tight rhythm sections, and a party-like atmosphere that often turns venues into beach-side festivals. Their touring history includes sold-out club dates and festival slots across Europe. The Skints will kick off an eight-date headline tour on Feb 11, 2027 in Edinburgh, then move through Newcastle, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, London, Amsterdam and will close on Mar 4, 2027 in Manchester, covering the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
