About The xx
A minimalist indie pop collective known for sparse guitar lines, hushed vocals, and atmospheric electronic textures, The xx emerged in the late-2000s and helped define a cool, introspective sound that blends pop sensibility with dance-floor-ready beats. Their live shows are celebrated for intimate atmospheres, precise arrangements, and a focus on mood over spectacle, often featuring dim lighting and subtle visual effects. While they have taken several hiatuses, the group remains respected for delivering emotionally resonant performances whenever they reconvene. The xx currently have three confirmed appearances at the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City on November 20-22, 2026, joining a broader festival lineup rather than headlining their own tour.
