About Animal Collective
Experimental indie collective from Baltimore, Animal Collective blends avant-garde pop, psychedelic textures, and lo-fi electronics into a distinctive, genre-defying sound that emerged in the early 2000s. Renowned for immersive, improvisational live shows that weave dense vocal harmonies with looping synths, the group has built a reputation for rare, multi-instrumental performances and long hiatuses between full-band tours. The band will open its first full-band appearance in four years on October 24, 2026 at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, marking a one-city, one-date run in the United States.
