Babymetal

Japanese metal idol collective Babymetal fuses aggressive thrash-style riffs, melodic choruses, and synchronized dance routines, creating the distinctive "kawaii metal" sound that has defined the genre since the early 2010s. Their music blends the intensity of metal with the catchiness of J-pop, delivering high-octane tracks that juxtapose growls with idol-style vocals. Renowned for theatrical live shows, Babymetal delivers elaborate stage productions, precise choreography, and a wall of sound that turns concerts into immersive spectacles. Fans and critics alike praise their ability to merge visual performance art with ferocious metal energy, making each show a memorable experience. The group recently wrapped a 17-date North American run that opened on September 2, 2026 in Denver and concluded on October 1, 2026 at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, covering major U.S. markets. No further performances have been announced.
