About Dimmu Borgir
Norwegian symphonic black metal pioneers, Dimmu Borgir blend orchestral arrangements with razor-sharp blast beats and soaring vocal harmonies, shaping the genre since the late-1990s. Their sound fuses gothic atmosphere with relentless aggression, delivering cinematic darkness that has defined modern extreme metal. Known for theatrical stagecraft, elaborate lighting, and precise musicianship, the band has built a reputation for powerful, immersive live shows that often feature elaborate visual backdrops. After a period of limited activity, they will launch a two-date European headline tour, opening on October 27, 2026 at Helsinki Icehall and concluding on October 31, 2026 at Oslo Spektrum, marking their first confirmed performances of the year.
