“Looking for the Light in Dark Places”: Dublin’s Big Sleep Embrace Life’s Holy Shows Through Beautifully Unruly Indie Rock
About Embrace
English alternative-rock outfit Embrace emerged in the late-1990s, blending melodic Britpop sensibilities with anthemic guitar-driven hooks. Their sound is marked by soaring vocal harmonies, earnest lyricism and a polished production style that bridges indie rock and mainstream pop-rock. Renowned for emotionally charged live performances, the band has built a reputation for delivering heartfelt setlists that balance new material with classic singles. After a series of hiatuses, they have maintained a dedicated fanbase eager for their return to the stage. Embrace will kick off a UK headline tour on November 9, 2026 at Aberdeen Music Hall, then traverse England and Scotland before concluding with a final show on April 30, 2027 at Scarborough Spa Grand Hall.
